We are well known within our community and state for our expertise. In local real estate and our community involvement, Lindsey H. Barron started the company in 1948 and ran it for 30 years until health problems caused him to sell the business to his two sons. Frank and Chip Barron in 1978.
Frank H. Barron, serving as President, has been with the company since July, 1973. He has been the primary Broker since 1978. Frank graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA degree and a major in Real Estate in 1973. He is a GRI graduate and has served the local Board of Realtors in all capacities including two terms as President and one term as Regional Vice President. His 33 years experience has guided the company since 1978. He continues to be involved in the community through the Board of Realtors, currently as Director, the Newnan Kiwanis Club and The Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Bank of Coweta, The Summit YMCA and as a Trustee of Wesley Woods Foundation and is a former Deacon and is currently serving on the Pastor Search Committee of the First Baptist Church in Newnan.
Thomas W. “Chip” Barron has been with the company since 1978 and serves as Vice President. Chip graduated from Emory University and has a Law Degree from Mercer University. His legal background has proven invaluable in drawing and wording contracts to protect all parties. He often gives free advice to our associates but is no longer practicing law. He is a Past President of the local Board of Realtors and serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Georgia MLS as well as serves on the Advisory Board of the local branch of BB&T, a former Chairman and Deacon at First Baptist Church, the Mercer University Board of Trustees, The Newnan Kiwanis Club and various other organizations.
Debbie McKoy is our office manager and she has been with the company since 1976. She handles all paperwork with the Georgia Real Estate Commission, Board of Realtors, and manages our secretarial staff. She is extremely knowledgeable about the real estate business, and Lindsey’s, Inc.’s policies and procedures with 30 years of experience. Her knowledge and memory greatly add to the success of the company.
Ragnar “Bud” Freeburg is an associate broker and Auburn graduate that has been with the company since 1984. He is actively involved in many areas of civic activity, including the United Way, Chamber of Commerce, Rutledge, and is currently serving as the secretary of the Newnan Kiwanis Club. Bud is extremely well liked by his peers and his customers.
Elena Dickerson currently serves as our training instructor of new agents. Chris McGhee currently handles our rental department.
