HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021!

To say that 2020 was a very strange and challenging year would be an understatement for sure. As we approach 2021, we have the light at the end of the tunnel in sight. With a COVID vaccine on the way, we, also, face the wonderful prospect of no more political advertisements, at least, for a while.
Things should get better in 2021, and with that in mind, it is time to make New Year's Resolutions, as we always do. It is, also, time to set goals for the coming year. That is of utmost importance in real estate.
My New Year's resolution is to be kind to all and to show kindness even to those who are not kind to me. My goal in real estate is to help as many people as possible to achieve the lofty goal of home ownership.

WHAT A FUN TIME OF THE YEAR IS THE CHRISTMAS SEASON! We enjoy all the festivities, music, food, gifts, and decorations; however, sometimes we miss The Real Meaning of Christmas.
As I get older, I have come to realize that it is truly far better to give than to receive. I get great joy out of seeing the joy and excitement of others, especially my grandchildren. Closing Time
In real estate, the closing is the grand finale of a transaction. Most closings run smoothly. Unfortunately, some closings do not. The following paragraphs contain information that will enable you to have a smooth closing whether buying or selling a property.
If the real estate purchase involves a loan, the lender must send the borrower the closing disclosure at least three days before closing. This is required by law. The closing disclosure is a from that discloses loan terms, fees, closing costs, the buyer's projected monthly payments, etc. It is essential that a buyer receives this form three days before closing to close on time. If the lender asks the borrower for documents to complete their loan approval, time is of the essence for the borrower to send these documents to prevent a delay in closing.
