It was a day that rain was predicted, and no one thought that the Newnan Cougar Classic would be played; however, things changed, and we were able to play all 18 holes.

The Lindsey's team was made up of "Double Eagle" Doug Hand, "Long Drive" Chris Bass, "Bogey Free" Blake Oxenreider and "Chipper" Chip Barron.  Everyone contributed and we wound up very presentable.  It was fun!

We did have an eagle on the "Trail of Tears" Hole Number 4. Never mind that we teed off from the green tees. Chris Bass nearly drove the green. I chipped to three feet and Blake Oxenreider made a clutch putt for the eagle.

Doug Hand made an outstanding chip on Hole Number 11 as well as several nice putts, and Chris Bass made two very long putts for birdie.  We played hard, had fun, and got to enjoy the comradery that a golf team event brings. We all pulled together and contributed in our own unique ways.
